As a Financial Planner with Madison Financial Planning Group, Leyla Z. Morgillo, CFP® brings more than 15 years of experience helping individuals and families make confident financial decisions—particularly as they prepare for and transition into retirement. Her approach centers on comprehensive, relationship-driven planning that aligns financial strategies with what matters most to each client. Leyla became a financial planner because she believes that thoughtful guidance can meaningfully change the trajectory of someone’s life.
Leyla earned her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and International Relations, magna cum laude, from Syracuse University and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation.
She has been deeply involved in advancing the profession and previously served as President and Treasurer of the Financial Planning Association of Central New York, contributing seven years of leadership on its board.
In addition to her professional leadership, Leyla is actively engaged in the Central New York community. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Central New York Community Foundation and is Chair of the Foundation’s Development Committee, supporting initiatives that strengthen the region and expand philanthropic impact.

Originally from Massachusetts, Leyla now lives in Kirkville, New York with her husband and two daughters. When she's not working with clients, she enjoys skiing, boating, and making memories with family and friends at the lake.
